EVERY FAMILY HAS ITS TROUBLES. . . Lima/Stonerock productions and The Empty Spaces Theatre Co(llaboration) in association with DiDonna Productions presents Christopher Humble’s Visceral Tragicomedy – THE FLIGHT OF THE EARLS Lima/Stonerock Productions and The Empty Spaces Theatre Co(llaboration) is proud to bring to the Mandell Theater at Loch Haven Park’s Lowndes Shakespeare Center, Christopher Humble’s explosive “The Flight of the Earls” Set on the eve of an assassination attempt in 1971, “The Flight of the Earls” is one of the definitive works exploring the “Troubles” in Northern Ireland. This vicious and visceral tragicomedy shows the grim immediacy of IRA terrorism. Brutal violence and betrayal rip through the proud Earl family, and blood is spilled – both figuratively and literally – for the “sake of Ireland”. The Flight of the Earls features some of Central Florida’s finest performers including CK Anderson (The Diviners, Hairspray), John Bateman (Pillowman, Dog Powered Robot ), Becky Eck (Sleigh, Sideways Stories from Wayside School), Stephen Lima (Legacy of Light, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot), Chris Prueitt (Phantasmagoria I and II, Unspoken), Marty Stonerock (Circle Mirror Transformation , Frozen) and Julie Snyder (PRT Launch 2011, As You Like It) The production will be directed by John DiDonna with additional direction by Kevin G. Becker and Seth Kubersky, with fight choreography by William Warriner. Earls will be stage managed by Brittany Wine with Set design by Tom Mangieri, Light design by Zanna Paulson, Costume design by Jennifer Bonner, Sound design by Les Caulfield, and prop design by Barbara Solomon.
